Following 36 years service in the Royal Air Force I founded Rubicon Drones Ltd, to offer high-quality aerial imagery and video using the latest technology to meet the customer's needs, throughout the UK mainland.

I'm a certified UK Civilian Aviation Authority (CAA) drone operator and a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 107 certified drone pilot in the USA, with many hours of drone flying in both countries.  

 

I'm CAA A2 Open Category and General Visual Line of Sight Category (GVC) certified, Drone Thermography Level 1 certified, and hold a Level 4 Diploma in the Remote Piloting of Unmanned Aircraft Systems for Commercial Operations.  

 

I hold a CAA-issued Operational Authorisation for operating in the higher-risk Specific Category.
